are you ever going to update this mod? because I love the idea of a Minecraft like map system. but when I tried this mod... the map didn't display right, and NOTHING was placed when I attempted to place this. . . it'd be nice if you fixed this for current minetest game.
it's a Nice mod... with one thing turning me off about it. the repair function doesn't seem to work. I've tried it with putting a damaged item(tool) in the left, and for the right side, I've tried putting both, another of the same item and also with the material used to make it. NEITHER worked when I hit the update button... it kept returning it with the same wear.
I still found the mod neat. kinda funny how you can give any item a name, I'd love to use this in my world... but without the repair feature.. it just feels like baggage. either it's broken, or maybe I wasn't using right? some more explanation of how the repair is supposed to work would be nice.
If it is uniquely broken for me for whatever reason... one thing to note, I happen to be an android user. so maybe this mod doesn't work for android? I don't know... but either way, might have still been worth me saying something just in case.

and might I add, I think it's really cool when mod owners actually answer back like this! there've been other mods I've complained about and I never got an answer back or anything. they haven't all been this way... and your one of them! so thanks.
Also... don't worry about the worm farm too much. the only thing that happens is that it just seems to make the farm freeze up when placed back down, but I found you can just fix it by taking something out then putting it back in. it seems that it fixes the freeze when you do something that makes the farm update. but like I said in my last post, it's a VERY small, easily fixable issue.
This is one awesome mod! a deffinitive must have! but any chance you can add support for the drawers mod? it's an amazing item storage mod, the "I have hands" does SEEM to work! at first I thought it didn't, I looked at it and attempted to pick it up from the front but it didn't work. I then attempted to pick it up from the side, IT WORKED! almost... when I went to place it back down the inventory that was in the container was gone! I then attempted to test what would happen if I exited the game then logged back in, the items DID come back! but the image of the items that would display on this container node would be invisible for some odd reason... it would come back if I made a withdraw then put it back in... further more, once replaced and if you were to put another item in the empty slot, it would completely overwrite whatever was in that slot upon re-logging back in.
other than that and maybe a very small, easily fixable issue I encountered with the worm farm... this mod is pretty cool! MUCH better than that wrench from that other mod I was using... but if you could PLEASE fix the issue that it has with the drawers mod, I would be very thankful! that might be the ONLY thing from making this perfect otherwise!
This is a GOOD mod! a definitive recommend! ...a mod like this should be added to the main minetest game by default... the screwdriver would no longer be the only tool of it's kind that does something! ... although. . call me picky, but any chance you could maybe add support for the worm farm mod? it's not exactly a well liked mod on account of the lack of fishing mods out there... except one. the one from ethereal(I use this alongside the worm farm). I was able to add in a bunch of costumely made chest nodes made by me manually with ease, but was having a hard time with the worm farm. there were some similar nodes kinda like it like the furnace, but I was still having a bit of issues figuring it out. would be nice if you looked into it. also... what was the deal with not having the normal, unlocked big chest's from connected chest's not fully configured? the LOCKED ones were.. but not the normal ones. I was able to easily do this myself, none of the less, it WAS weird though. . .
I Deeply apologize for not answering back... it's been quite a while. According to the date you posted... I COULD'VE sworn I checked back to this thread some time after I posted to see if you answered back.. when you never seemingly did, I just assumed you just never posted and decided to just never get back to me for whatever reason. I then just deleted my bookmark back to this thread, thinking that was the end of it. I've now just noticed the bell on my account after not doing anything minetest related for quite some time... and just now saw your post. . . Ha... ha. . . I'm gonna guess this site doesn't update properly when jumping through bookmarks... and now I know. the issue I was having was with mobs monster. I'm in version 5.8.0 for android. but I think it DID work for animalia's mobs, but for mobs monster, the arrows were going THROUGH the mob. I again apologize for this inconvenience.
This sadly didn't work for me(android user). not sure if this is some bug only on android or not, but it just didn't work. . . the courser changes and indicates that I can place something, but NOTHING happens on place... what's more, it SEEMS to have somehow disabled my fast and no-clip privileges. not really sure if it was maybe me that somehow toggled that off on accident, but it happened after I used this mod. gave me quite the scare, I actually thought maybe the mod had broken something as I turned off the mod, checked my privileges and I COULDN'T figure out why my fast mode wasn't working... when it finally occurred to me to check the toggle for those modes in game(lol). STILL weird that happened though. something like this mod would be so great especially on mobile, where controls happen to be a bit weird. ultra bummer man! oh well. . .

The Arrows go through the mob, and I found a bit of a bug. if you place an arrow or stack of arrows in the ammunitions slot THEN try to move it to where your supposed to put the quiver, it SEEMS to read the arrows as the quiver, allowing you access to the additional ammunition slots, lol, but very disappointed(forgot to mention, this was tried with the unified inventorys. don't know if this issue persists off that mod). I just wish I knew that before going through the trouble of crafting the entire set... well. . minus a quiver. . . but yea. . . . WORST waste of 25 wools ever. . . . . .

Just wanted to report the feeding SEEMS to be working after the recent update you just did! it was freaking amazing... there I was, TRYING to draft some of your mobs to another mob mod(FOUND something that was allowing for that), I had just finished with the cow... I was in the works of drafting the horse... when I hit an issue with the texture. I THOUGHT I was gonna have to do some computer modifications and then transfer the png's to my tablet(somewhat of a HUGE pain in the ass to do btw).
during one of my mid tests... right around 1:42 am, I noticed on my minetest tab I had a mod ready for an update. I've already seen a bunch of mods do this already... but it's usually just other mods(that happens to be working just fine)... but today. . IT WAS YOU (animalia)! I hit that update button faster than Santa can say marry Christmas, and got straight to testing. I didn't cover all animals... but just by actually successfully feeding the cow, I can TELL you've fixed it! I saw the wheat particle go around it's head and everything! and various feeding did put it into love mode. not sure if it was my imagination, but I think I noticed a bit of lag after enabling your mod. NOT sure if maybe it had something to do with having ANOTHER animal mod on... but seeing as how this is working now, I think I'll stop the migration experiment I had going on...

I was feeling skeptical that you were ever gonna fix it, especially since you never spoke to me or gave me a liner that you were gonna fix it. when I first got this mod, REALLY liked it! till I attempted to tame something... I haven't tried on all animals, but trying to feed a cow wheat does nothing. I then tried to experiment in a test World and breeding doesn't seem to work either. although, something I kinda missed that I'm currently just now learning after reading more about what this mod is about in this section is your animals have some sort of gender system mechanic going on, lol, REALLY didn't know this... but either way, the feeding mechanic appears to be broken.
I also don't really know if it had anything to do with the latest update to the minetest engine. I have just recently moved in to the android version of minetest, and just yesterday they just updated to version 5.8. I wasn't expecting a forced update, I usually hate updating because I know from experience it tends to break some mods sometimes. bit of a long story short, I found out how to stop my minetest from updating. I HAVEN'T updated my main game, so I don't really know if this is just some bug being caused for playing a version 5.7 minetest game on a version 5.8 engine or not, but ONE of the changes I've noticed is, they seem to have made the "on_place(right click)" work with a single tap instead of two. not sure if this had anything to do with it or not since I NEVER tried to tame something between the short time I installed this mod and the latest engine update happening.
ONE thing to note though, NOTHING else appears to be broken. the book documents the animals just fine as well as taking milk from a cow. all of these things also happen with the right click action so I REALLY don't know what gives here.
I haven't tried the lasso or the saddle yet, though... regardless, ONE of the main key points of having these animals is broken, which is ODD considering everything else appears to work just fine on right click.
So far, feeling kinda disappointed, and I'm REALLY gonna be disappointed if this doesn't get fixed.
I sort of didn't really know I could prevent my individual apps from updating. just went through my settings and found the "Enable auto update" checkbox for minetest and unchecked it.

Thank you so much for answering! I don't post much here so I kinda didn't really know about how things worked here. I thought it was as simple as just simply "saving" after I was done typing. I DID see what it was trying to tell me after I had finished. I didn't really know what the process of opening the thread was but it didn't make any sense to delete anything in order to post something ( I THINK is what it said, or what it was trying to tell me).
I apologize for being a noob with this, I just never fully understood this infurstructer. from the last version I once knew(5.1.1)it has instilled in me that mods sometimes usually break when you move up to the latest version(if the modder never updated their mod). for instance... caverealms don't seem to work in the build I'm currently on. I never really got to explore the underground section to see if anything generated, but upon flying around with the fly priv in my test World has revealed the game seems to CRASH if I wonder too far away from spawn parameters. this NEVER happened on my old 5.1.1 build of the game.
I didn't really realize that the minetest game was very different from the engine. I thought they worked together. if I were to get myself a fresh copy of the minetest game from 5.1.1 and put it into the game folder of the current engine... would it run? and I once again apologize for sounding like an idiot. if there's no one to explain stuff to me, then I just don't know (lol).
I've been having a good time so far with this, except for the latest update that happened and just got forced down my throat. see, I just recently rolled in from my old version of minetest that was a version 5.1.1 that was on my old windows 7 pc. I have since, migrated to the latest version on Android(playing on a tablet). took me a while to get my bearings straight, but have adjusted relatively well.
the first obstacle I overcame was finding a way into the data folder to modify stuff like I used to on my computer. WASN'T easy, but I managed.
Lately... I noticed you guys updated to the latest version. while I DO like the new UI change, I MUST know if this means some out of date mods will stop working. will things start to break, if I DON'T update the main minetest game? I've put in HOURS of work into stuff I've modified(I've drafted a number of things as well as textures from my computer).
NOT all content and mods are kept to date... so I must know if I'm in any danger. or... do these changes only effect the UI on android? I DID notice one in game change... I noticed doors open with one tap now instead of two. two taps was supposed to be a right click, right? while I understand the convenience of the change, you guys just trolled me. I was thinking it was some sensitivity issue. I was having a hard time trying to figure out how the doors worked, then that's when it began occuring to me that it was happening on one tap, while HOLDING it is to destroy it... I kinda like it after figuring out how it worked, but you guys need to figure a way to TELL people what's changed instead of randomly slapping people upside the head with a sudden change like that. . . lol.
Hello! am kinda new with posting on this website, so am hoping this will get read. LOVE this mod! but I was wondering if there was a way to make certain dropped items immune to being vaporized by the lava. I like the feature, but I have only one kind of item I'd like to not be destroyed by the lava.

Thank you so much for answering! I don't post much here so I kinda didn't really know about how things worked here. I thought it was as simple as just simply "saving" after I was done typing. I DID see what it was trying to tell me after I had finished. I didn't really know what the process of opening the thread was but it didn't make any sense to delete anything in order to post something ( I THINK is what it said, or what it was trying to tell me).
I apologize for being a noob with this, I just never fully understood this infurstructer. from the last version I once knew(5.1.1)it has instilled in me that mods sometimes usually break when you move up to the latest version(if the modder never updated their mod). for instance... caverealms don't seem to work in the build I'm currently on. I never really got to explore the underground section to see if anything generated, but upon flying around with the fly priv in my test World has revealed the game seems to CRASH if I wonder too far away from spawn parameters. this NEVER happened on my old 5.1.1 build of the game.
I didn't really realize that the minetest game was very different from the engine. I thought they worked together. if I were to get myself a fresh copy of the minetest game from 5.1.1 and put it into the game folder of the current engine... would it run? and I once again apologize for sounding like an idiot. if there's no one to explain stuff to me, then I just don't know (lol).
I've been having a good time so far with this, except for the latest update that happened and just got forced down my throat. see, I just recently rolled in from my old version of minetest that was a version 5.1.1 that was on my old windows 7 pc. I have since, migrated to the latest version on Android(playing on a tablet). took me a while to get my bearings straight, but have adjusted relatively well.
the first obstacle I overcame was finding a way into the data folder to modify stuff like I used to on my computer. WASN'T easy, but I managed.
Lately... I noticed you guys updated to the latest version. while I DO like the new UI change, I MUST know if this means some out of date mods will stop working. will things start to break, if I DON'T update the main minetest game? I've put in HOURS of work into stuff I've modified(I've drafted a number of things as well as textures from my computer).
NOT all content and mods are kept to date... so I must know if I'm in any danger. or... do these changes only effect the UI on android? I DID notice one in game change... I noticed doors open with one tap now instead of two. two taps was supposed to be a right click, right? while I understand the convenience of the change, you guys just trolled me. I was thinking it was some sensitivity issue. I was having a hard time trying to figure out how the doors worked, then that's when it began occuring to me that it was happening on one tap, while HOLDING it is to destroy it... I kinda like it after figuring out how it worked, but you guys need to figure a way to TELL people what's changed instead of randomly slapping people upside the head with a sudden change like that. . . lol.
Hello! am kinda new with posting on this website, so am hoping this will get read. LOVE this mod! but I was wondering if there was a way to make certain dropped items immune to being vaporized by the lava. I like the feature, but I have only one kind of item I'd like to not be destroyed by the lava.
