All of these bugs have been fixed in github, but I can't publish a new release to contentdb until after the jam (at least I think so).
This happens when you first re-join the game (unless you're expirencing a different bug). It you time travel it will reload the ghosts and fix the problem temporarily. It's been fixed on github, and I'll publish a release on contentdb that fixes it after the jam.
Thanks for withholding judgement. I priortized getting something that actually worked over designing good puzzles, and as a result many parts of the game are absurdly, stupidly frustrating. I plan to add some sort of diegetic guidence system in the future.
Thank you for your thorough review; I'm glad you can see the value this game can/will have despite its unpolished state. The idea was ambitious and I worried that it wouldn't work out, expecially considering I had little to no expirence with minetest before the jam. I'm glad it turned out somewhat playable.
Voice acting is an interesting idea...
Basic materials is a great alternative dependency to use for crafting recipes (when compared to default and mtg), but I've always avoided it because of its textures.

In what versions of the game does the engine not crash? Is it only the very latest version that doesn't work?
1) What version of minetest are you on?
2) Could you get me an error message?

I consider this to be game-breaking, hopefully I don't get disqualified for making an update that fixes it. If I do, whatever.
Sure, maybe it's not practical to use in-game, but it's so impressive that I don't care. I litteraly have no idea how you did this.
