That's by design, vegan alternatives should require more work to aqquire than their animal based counterparts, this mod is made more as a method for me to allow items from mods that require animal products to be crafted without using a mobs framework with mobs introduced.
Bad News, KetchupTest has recieved it's last update.
Onto the good news, KetchupTest will recieve another update.
The Next update will be the long awaited 1.0 Update, and will be released in 4 parts. this will be the update to finish the game, the game will still recieve medium sized content updates after this point!
The hues are really nice, other than that it adds quite a lot of nice content! it does stand out a little too much (good or bad depending on who you ask) and might not be acceptable to 16x16 purists
But on a much more serious note, what exactly is kalite, why does it burn, why can you eat it, and what does it taste like? this has been plagueing my mind for the longest time, is it some subterranean flesh creature that embeds itself into stone that is wrongfully classified as a mineral, a plant? does it taste like raspberrys? i legitimately have no clue.
oh yeah, and theres stained glass and some system that lets you upgrade your tools but i have no idea how it works and if you can even use it, so dont think too much about that, everyones here for kalite and nothing else.
Its a lot like gambling, but significantly more fun as you dont lose money by doing it and actually can afford to pay child support, booting up a new world and seeing the ground made of diamonds is always fantastic, until you realize theres literally no food in sight for miles around and you are going to die in 2 minutes from starvation, so then you start running around like crazy, BUT OH NOES, the sand has got replaced with lava, so you cant leave the island your trapped in, so you hury up and craft some planks to bridge over the lava, get across the ocean, but then die immediately as you touch land because you starved to death. but at least theres no real world consequences in this mod so its a OK
the good thing about the simple patterns is that it can prevent bad designs from no gooders on the server, plus these look perfect for a castle setting, however, as of modern times, I believe this mod has been merged with castle decor to a certain extent, but if you just want neat banners to decorate your fantasy dwelling, these are absolutely a must have!
The aether mod was such a revolutionary mod in the history of gaming, flying whales, ambrosium, zanite crystals, the ellusive gravitite that once smelted immediately became a full block for some reason and also strangely yeets your foes into the air, all of this great content, but clearly, the most important feature in the whole mod that needed to be in minetest, guantlets, is FINALLY HERE, everyone can finally complete their set of armor with epic gauntlets, having swordfights is so much less stressful now that you dont have to worry about losing your pinky finger1
This texture pack is one of my favorites, refi textures takes way too long to load, but this pack only makes small minute changes, so its pretty easy and doesnt hog your precious time, the colors are faithful to classic MC textures but still maintain the shape and style of voxelibre, I love this pack and am even planning on contributing to it.
I love this mod simply because of the visuals alone, the shelves kind of jut out a little and they come in all vanilla wood types, once you insert and item, it will show the icon allowing you to identify where you actually put your mese blocks, pretty useful especially compared to signs which are not visual and can be quite blande, essential when working with tech to spice things up in an otherwise grey and bleak environment
This mod really adds a bunch of neat features, for starters, you can mine ice with an ice pick, it adds a bit of immersion, and it comes in only 2 variants from what i have played so its along the lines of the farming mod hoe, but it has a niche use that makes you feel like your making an efficient use of resources when you use the ice pickaxe to mine ice instead of the normal one, really cool idea, the concrete block set is real nice and the developer star ninjas even gave them their own sounds to make them sound more rubbely? if thats the right word, the new vessels, shelves, and doors also add variety, its a bunch of misc content but it all comes together in a nice little package, pairs well with technic as they both share similar themes, but the concrete might actually conflict with basic materials concrete/cement, so that could potentially be an issue, other than that i had quite a lot of fun with this on a server, would recommend this mod to survival and creative builders, also having desert varients of things is great, now theirs an actual reason to go there! :)
jokes asside, its always nice to have new tool tiers and having people passionate about their favorite real life minerals, something important with game design is knowing that its ok to implement your own features even if you think other people wont enjoy them, having things you like in your own game is very important, because if not, then its not your game.
The mod is pretty much useless, by design it seems so, It seems the main premise is for devs to add functionality and support to this mod in their own mods, that does actually sound cool, until you realize your still carrying around all the ores that you arent using for your specific usecase, still, cool tho, and rainbow caverns are always nice to look at. minerals are just as important as vitamins, except in Minecr#ft where copper is a completely useless ore.
I have played on this mod on multiple occasions, this mod is designed to be compatible with as many games as possible, voxelibre, minetest, heck i think it even works with nodecore (even tho you possibly shouldnt do that) the mod adds a dozen new biomes to explore each with their own cave systems, it captures the feel of 2014 minecraft modpacks filled with the most random and awesome dimensions youve ever came across, and there are hundreds of new building blocks, a few tools like a 3x3 mining hammer with a powerful upgrade, my only complaint is the mod is too derivitive of better nether and better end, but its actually not too bad of a con considering those are two AMAZING mods, this mod is the spiritual successor to ethereal.
You have to set up the entire game manually, the game doesnt do anything original but create a significantly worse version of pacman as you cant see from top down so yourlikely to backtrack a lot, the models are a bit weird and yes, its based off minetest game for some reason, please stay far away from this game. the game could be good but only with a total rewrite and actual programming.
You can use this to create simple low poly 3D models, excellent tool for young children to learn creativity and maybe make basic animations in blender, all that is required here is basic minetest/luanti knoledge, and you already have a genius kid who does that, you can get him to create interesting things with the settup, and even print the toys like action figures and minecr#ft creepers without having to pay too much money given that you already have a 3D printer, your kid will enjoy to play with the fun minetest toys he creates <3
This game has many colors which will appeal to young children if you have a child who plays minetest but has anger issues and cant tolerate games with death systems and is more creative, this is a perfect game for them, there is 100s of blocks in disposal with most of them having multiple variants, also fun to explore, good rage free game for young kids
Sometimes some weathered down blocks can add some neccesary texture to a build, this is already seen in minetest game but to a lesser extent with mossy cobblestone, having this genuinely makes your builds pop if manually added, but also makes them integrate more naturally into the environment overtime have you built something in water.
SO that way i couldnt see the particals, and in turn made it more challenging for myself, i forgot if i actually got far or not, all i heard was a bunch of sound effects, very weird and confusing game.
Ive played this game several times and it does have some nice mapgen going on, and some really great textures and original mobs, but I just cant see any reason why youd want to play this as a standalone game, theres not enough content to keep things engaging, it would possibly work best a modding base in my opinion so I'd likely stay tuned on this.
World edit exists already, this mod doesnt improve on the idea in any ways and as someone previously said uses extremely inefficient methods, if you are going to make an alternative, at least make it better than the original, this is just a stripped down version of world edit. im giving this a neutral because it does what its supposed too if not too well
Its very useful for server owners, but it requires knoledge of commands, so there is a bit of work you need to put into it, luckily there is documentation to help.
THe visuals are neat here, the tones have been shifted but it greatly leans the atmosphere to a somewhat nostalgic feel to classic minetest, where it felt almost like minecr#ft, but not quite there without crossing into uncanny valley (except classic minetest had the weirdest grass texture of all time and it wasnt green)
It's exactly what it says it is, the snake game in Minetest, fairly bug free and works as youd expect, im assuming moves are done internally before being reflected in nodes, i have tried to commit word puzzle inside the game by ramming into myself and i died before it actually showed up.
It doesnt do too much, is super light weight, and provides tree cutter functionality, not too mention the tree doesnt go down instantly, so it looks visually interesting!
There are few blocks that can add a lot to a simple build, dressers, piles of treasure, golden furniture, several neglected features have been given uses they havent seen before, i recommend this mod for builders who player voxelibre, all the new food sources are neat too, lots of new features that are simple and dont have much mechanical depth, so its very begginer friendly.
I heavily recommend this mod for people who enjoy Minetest game but think Mineclone/Voxelibre is a bit too much, its a great mod and having 2 new palletes of blocks to build with being mangrove and mud actually works really well, especially with red and brown tones allowing to create some japanese inspired builds, cool mod in general
I get its designed to prevent tree punching and there are performance reasons to do it, but its far too tedious to deal with, there are other better mods that do a similar thing, it does have its uses, but it isnt for me, but what it does do might appeal to you. :)
The mod does not work as a concept, it will hardly show up during gameplay since you wont be dying much except in extreme environments, but you can just afk until night to sleep and avoid the challenge, completely pointless mods and it would be best to generally remove beds and rework spawning mechanics instead and/or introduce a more endgame spawning system.
The shovels actually look pretty powerful now, if not heavier, might have to work out a while and eat several meat blocks for the protein required to weild one of these bad boys
it doesnt clash too much with minetest game, and it does make the computer have to deal with less rendering load, especially in rooms filled with pipes and cables, other than that a full texture pack in this style would be great for visual consistency, pretty good pack!
without this and nathan salapart modding tutorials, I wouldnt have started developing for minetest without this, my first games limboarria and ketchuptest used this as a base, it provides the basic node defs and you can go from their, its pretty great as a base game and is also a good fit for testing game agnostic mods,
Its a really great and interesting mod, I recommend it should you want to have more Minecr#ft mechanics in your world, goes great in library builds, (and collecting the resources to construct the respective libraries) lots of useful enchantments when diamonds or mese arent enough, you can become seriously overpowered, very useful in survival scenarios XD
It adds checkerboard tiles, curtains, tables, chairs, it feels like a port of mr crayfishes furniture mod to voxelibre, really well designed and featured without adding as much as other mods like homedecor, all of the furniture will have a nice place in your home and inside your mods folder, and also your heart. download it today :)

rope mod, x_farming
Self explainable, the issue tracker link sends you to a 404, also please make hemp rope group:rope
The hues are really nice, other than that it adds quite a lot of nice content! it does stand out a little too much (good or bad depending on who you ask) and might not be acceptable to 16x16 purists
thank you i agree the biome is cool
Looks good with bloom, Godrays, shadows on max, waving liquids and leaves, plus super performant because its only 64x64, Super epic

LETS GO PLUNDER SOME MESE BOOTEY ON THE CELERON 55 SEAS,, ARGGHGHHHH ME SAMMIES!!!

Driving games are always fun, but your better off playing mario kart, more of a proof of concept for terrain generation and not much else. :)

I need to mine blocks faster. diamonds arent enough, mese as been worthless ever since diamonds were added, please..
