My only complaint is why is there gold armor instead of mese? mese is significantly more iconic and gold is actually a terrible material to make armor out of, but hey, at least gold is actually somewhat "useful" now.
Ive played this on a v6 world and from what i could gather it adds birch trees and swamp logs, also the divots of swamp water are extremely deep, dont drown in them...
Ive played on this mod on multiple occasions, by default, when you enter you lose ALL your supplies and have to start from scratch in the nethers tech tree, thankfully your given a guide, and oh.. dont try to escape, youll never escape. unless you build the exit portal, and by the way, theres definitely not a jungle so dont go looking for it, it totally doesnt exist ;)
This mod used to have a lot of miss matched content that would clash which each other, as of now it has significantly less thanks to contributers, so i can happily say this mod is welcome on a lot of worlds from luanti purists who prefer 16x16 on everything, the mod is weirdly obsessed with hemp, hemp blocks, hemp ropes, hemp mush?? we got pumpkins, beetroots, sunflowers, chocolate and a lot of other interesting things, and yes before you ask, there is a hamburger
ive never really known anyone who used the actually used the turtles from computer craft, they always used the monitors to regular nuclear power plants and galacticraft space stations, but having these guys running around doing tasks is pretty useful since most people actually dont want to play minetest game with you and would mutch rather prefer to play nodecore or voxelibre instead :(
This game is heavily inspired by nodecore on a fundamental level, but a majority of the puzzle mechanics are completely gone, im not sure what the approach is but it can likely evolve into something very interesting with enough time.
With the simple press of a button I can see whos online on my server IF I HAD ONE, its fairly convenient and a great port of a similar Minecr#ft feature, unfortunately since it can only be bound to either bound to aux sneak or any of the wasd keys thanks to the config, its definitely going to be somewhat intrusive during gameplay but this is of course an engine limitation as a result of the minetest engine.
an issue youll typically come across is you and your friend will simultaniously break the same block of log and then one of you realizes you wasted your time unnessacarily breaking that part of the tree, with this mod you can better identify whos breaking what and actually end up with trees in your inventory instead of just sawdust
This mod is in essense just the corruption biome from t#rraria, but as a mod, its fairly small but has quite a lot of content with even a boss to eventually reach and defeat, you cant completely clean the world of the infection, but you can prevent it from spreading further, only gripe is that the crafting recipe is way too cheap so newbs on your server can easily wreak havoc on the landscape against your will, but at least its better than random houses built of wool/camo and nyancat blocks with home decor furniture tacked on XD
at first glance the mod seems as a joke, but it adds a hint of realism as you have to prevent the weeds from growing out of control around your house, its a weird concept and i can see it used in a hard subgame of some kind.
I have dug into this mod in creative and some attempts in survival, there is a crazy amount of underground variety, giant multicolored caverns, slimy eyeballs, very weird at times but it essentially creates indepent worlds in the depths of the caverns. very interesting from a conceptual standpoint, theres a addon by the same dev that adds more content to it! so the mod has an expansion pack making it even better than before
The textures dont really have much depth and appear with an almost plastic quality, a lot of detail is gone, I get it's trying to go for a modern updating aesthetic but it feels more like a downgrade than anything, but hey, points for trying! :)
Yeah, its pretty much minecr#fts classic textures, replicated pretty well while still being legally distinct, they look amazing and like a weird alternate universe version of minecr#fts, that is, if it was green. for some reason the author really loves the color green but i cant blame him, does make it come off as a pvp texture pack because of the color scheme but i digress
Compressing 10 coal dust regardless of where you are in the game is way too cheap for a recipe, it causing more problems then it solves and the description is absolutely right for mentioning the potential harm it can generally cause on server.
this mod implements in tinted glass, which is essentially glass that lets you see through but no light is allowed to pass, this has so many neat use cases like mob farms, fine tuned lighting in bases to create some atmosphere which we all desire. One of the best mods for Minetest/luanti ive seen and it does so little but so much at the same time.
as i was mentioning earlier about another mod that seems to be attempting to recreate gregtech mechanics to a certain extent, this is sure leaning into copious amounts of tech related materials and we could have something crazy on our hands, is it terrifying? yes, but dont we all want giant machines in our base and nuclear reactors their too? yeah!, of Course!!
This mod opens so many posibilities and is essentially required for any sort of ocean building, especially on v5 maps where oceans can be hundreds of blocks deep making it practically impossible to build any sort of floating ship without bridges out from land first, definitely a good mod for anyone who wants to build pirate ships and the like
This mod completely changes the way you light up caves, its great for getting rid of areas where pesky mobs can spawn while making the area signicantly more visible, perfect for when a torch bow wasnt enough to light your way.
This mod allows you to create custom bore drills to dig into cliffs and carve out secret rooms, mine for ores, make railway tracks through mountains, you name it! but where this mod really signs is its modularity, overal its a pretty great mod.
It perfectly replicates the charm of base Minetest game while providing more bio diversity, definitely an interesting mod, the new fruits and berries are epic! as well as the new woodsets, also biome tinted grass is also a nice addition to carry over from minecr#ft
It has all the crucial and important stuff youd expect from a farming mod, its pretty neat especially when the two main competitors add quite a lot, sometimes simplicity is a great thing :)
The teleporter in this mod reminds me of rf tools, its a pretty good tech mod as its a break of fresh air from technic, the mod is thankfully still being updated by contributors so you can still play it :)
I use this along with sz_givemenu when testing out my projects and searching for items in projects which dont have creative inventory systems, simple but useful
I was looking for a mod like this for a longer time, its a neat little touch to crafting, even if it isnt that immersive, still really cool and makes the game more sensical
This is absolutely nessacary for creating schematics, simple and easy to use and has a variety of features, you can set the probability a node would spawn on a schematic, like if you wanted an apple to be rare, its pretty simple and easy to use.
I spawn into the air forest biome and i have no idea what the end goal of the game is, i crafted myself a full set of air armor and i presume there is some sort of end goal the dev had in mind but its extremely confusing, someone please help
This game is fairly simple but it does a lot of interesting things that help it stand out, the game has a painting system allowing you to color nodes through the use of the paintbrush tool, doing things in this game is pretty easy and it isnt really designed to waste you time, but it still heavily incentivizes you to take it slow, there are no end goals and thats what makes it so special, it feels a lot like m#necraft 1.0 without the ender dragon, good game overall :)
This is actually really cool, there is a full blown 3d rendering engine in this game that runs a watered down version of doom that still has the fundamentals, its really simple tho so dont expect to be in the game for hours, its more of a tech demo than anything else and it absolute shines in the regard.
The mese monster was my favorite mob and unfortunately it got remodeled and retextures, licensing issues perhaps? anyways this mod rectifies this by bringing it back as its own entity, its a great mod and brings back some memories.
The mod is fairly derivitive to Vanilla Minecraft, with a few exceptions such as the etherium desert, burnt forest, lava lands with those pointy basandra bushes, the illumishrooms help you see in the caves while mining so thats neat, especially when you run out of coal and need to craft a quick torch in order to be able to see since they exclusively grow on coal ore, the mod is really great even if quite a bit of the art clashes and it hasnt aged well. its still one of the good mods for minetest Game/Luanti
The peices clash very uncannily with the nodecore world, but on the bright side, at least they allow you to play the game of chess without having to create a copious amount of tools to represent the set peices, overall its a good quality of life mod even if the respective peices can be a bit jarring.
Why? because this game ISNT minecraft and isnt designed to be like minecraft, its only similar in the voxel based world and sandbox nature, i vividly remember playing nodecore for the first time because of how iconic the visuals were, simple geometric shapes, although, it took me a day or two of gameplay to craft the first very useful item on my way to the ultimate tier, (wanted to hide spoilers for obvious reasons)
You can use this for building lines to decorate builds like bridges by using them as the handles, fortunately this doesnt require you to use the incredibly hacky solution of shoving a chicken into a hole tied to the rope to give the illusion its tied to the ground as the leads can thankfully attach between posts without mobs, good mod that fixes some of the issues with the original concept
Sometimes you just get stuck in a cave with your only way out being death, this mod thankfully fixes that by adding a simple yet useful stone pickaxe to help you get out of your conundrum
My only complaint is why is there gold armor instead of mese? mese is significantly more iconic and gold is actually a terrible material to make armor out of, but hey, at least gold is actually somewhat "useful" now.
This game is pretty fun especially speedrunning it, also the mushrooms are blue berry muffins, yay!
Ive played this on a v6 world and from what i could gather it adds birch trees and swamp logs, also the divots of swamp water are extremely deep, dont drown in them...

Its just your opinion

fairly simple mod, only use case i could see is personal vanity or building, pretty cool mod otherwise

I have used this mod in numorous occasions especially mainly to shock people who decide to join me, its really funny and their reactions are priceless
thx :)
Similarly to the leads mod being a port of a minecraft mechanic, this mod allows you to put blocks on your head, very useful and awesome.
