The cow model was provided sirrobzeroone and has worked quite well. If you are any good with blender please feel free to design a new cow model and textures for consideration.
Disable no, but if you have 3d_armor mod loaded as well which I suspect you do, wear one single piece of crystal or nether armor to give fire protection level 1 to stop torches from burning player :)
@flemtone1 - I did get to read your messages, thanks for the kind words. As for my mods, they stand on their own merits so if players want to use them that's great, if not then there's plenty of other mods to check out. That's the beauty of playing Minetest :)
@GetMeSumADat - I've just gotten around to updating my mods to run on 5.5 release, so any errors you experience you could post them in the comments for me to see :)
@GetMeSumADat - If a player positions his protectors in certain ways they can easily create spaces within their builds that allow for PVP or crop farming and the like. Protector Redo isn't a be all and end all mod, it won't stop every single thing from happening to your build, water/lava will flow, /sethome will still work but can easily be thwarted by a little clever thinking.

I was wondering why I had 41 messages when I signed on, almost had a heart attack thinking something was wrong :)

It's so nice to have a cow leave flowers behind instead of the alternative :P
