I did some profiling in a bare undecorated flat world with no mods besides headanim and from the look of it this mod is faster than player_api, which controls what player animation plays (walk, stand, mine, etc)
Looking at this again though I see a lot of performance improvements I can make, I'll push an update soon
If you have to edit the code then the mod doesn't officially support whatever you're trying to achieve.
If there were per crop/lite mode settings along with a simple crafts setting then I'd consider what I'm trying to achieve officially supported
If someone is using the reviews to decide on whether they should get this mod they should be reading my reasons for why I voted the way I did in the contents of my review (which recommends this mod to people who, unlike me, enjoy having lots of crops and more complicated crafts).
Would be nice to give a review that doesn't affect score but I'm not aware of anyway to do that yet, so I went with my personal opinion, which shouldn't hurt the publicity of this mod seeing how it's ranked 4th at the time of writing this
a wise person says "if you think too many changes are bad I can wholeheartedly suggest Minetest 0.3.1"...
As long as it's change I like I'll take your entire stock
The author disappeared a year or more ago, and this mod has suffered. There are some bugs that make certain features unusable in CaptureTheFlag, and I doubt they're going to get fixed anytime soon.
This gives you a crafting guide and the ability to initiate one or more crafts after finding the recipe you want to use. If you're a survival player looking for an alternative to Unified Inventory this is a pretty good choice
If you're only making one relatively simple command for your mod you may want to just write everything yourself, but if you're doing lots of decently complex commands then I highly recommend this API
It isn't as easy to cover large areas with this like it is with the areas mod, but it comes pretty close.
The protection blocks are simple and easy to use. They also blend pretty well with the other MTG textures
Originally it only added a few extra crops, allowing more varied meals that were still roughly as simple to craft as bread. But then they started adding a bunch of new stuff, complicating the crafting recipes, and adding tons of new crops, some of which I had never heard of before, most of which I would never use. At this point, based on the brief glances I've had at it, it would be better suited in a game focused on farming and meal preparation. My MTG worlds are all focused on combat and building, it requires too much 'effort' to start a farm and produce food
If you like being able to farm tons of different crops and want crafting meals to take a lot more effort then this is the mod for you, otherwise I'm not sure, I haven't looked into any alternatives yet, using an older version of this mod would probably work
A year or so ago I might use this because it was the only inventory mod with certain features, but now I'm seeing much faster and better looking alternatives popping up
I think that section is for forks of maintained content like MTG's farming mod. 3d_armor's page here was switched to the minetest-mods version because the author went MIA.
The owner of Exile seemed supportive of the community helping manage things. They also mentioned you positively too so I don't think they'd mind you being added as a maintainer. Is it possible to talk with them or did they vanish?
Version status at the top bases off of the latest release. Which is what the 'Download' button will download.
5.3 clients will only see the latest compatible release.
The digtime is perfect, and the pickaxe even digs nodes that wouldn't normally be diggable (Like chests full of items).
A warning though: Don't give this to anyone but the most trusted staff on your server, the superpick is a powerful but dangerous tool.
I'm not against having breeding systems, I'd probably be using this mod on the LAN server if it had something like MC's breeding system
That is the issue. A MC breeding system they can understand, but one like yours will bring up questions.
I'm presenting you with one, but if you can't see it then feel free to ignore it. I'll continue using other animal mods
I thought this would be a fun mod to add to a LAN server for some neighborhood kids, but the (as far as I can see) only breeding method was an instant nope https://github.com/runsy/petz/blob/3ac5722bb58329e746a354fa909fe261de7f329f/petz/misc/items.lua#L263-L286
EDIT: You can now disable this breeding method in your minetest.conf. My review will stand until it's not the default though
Ah, so you mean visual lag, that I can't help, unless SSCSM becomes a thing and allows changing bone rotations

Note in reading the screenshot that I didn't put as heavy a use on headanim/player_api before the update compared to after the update

This is the best wielded light mod I've found from all the ones I've tried.
This is a must-have for all my worlds. It's great for traversing the massive and beautiful caves that caverealms generates
Made this a neutral review in favor of an updated version of this: https://content.minetest.net/packages/mt-mods/hangglider/

If you like hard/hardcore games that don't focus as much on the mental part of things like Nodecore you may enjoy this game.
Good to see this is still being continued after Dokimi left!

Why are you creating a new package instead of asking to be added as a maintainer of https://content.minetest.net/packages/Dokimi/exile/?
I use this for a lot of my worlds. Great mod. Caves are no longer boring
I use this for pretty much all of my survival worlds. It beats any other mods I've tried and does its job well
Just need to create a new release now
https://github.com/ksandronline/yatranslate/pull/1
Ok that's fine then
I think you may also be compatible with 0.4.x but it's ok now I guess
Your release https://content.minetest.net/packages/ksandr/yatranslate/releases/6100/ says that this mod doesn't work with any Minetest versions before 0.4.16, or with any Minetest versions after 5.3
I'll have to get around to adding more content then. Neat to see interest like that at an early stage
No game is complete without dragons. This is a pretty high quality mod for them
Like the airsword mod but a lot less OP and boasting greater selection of items and other things. Good mod for sky explorers
https://github.com/ComputeGraphics/Minetest-Tamicolor-Mod/pull/3 removes it from Github for you. You should be editing Github and creating your releases using the Github version of your mod
You still have CDB settings in your mod.conf
depends.txt is deprecated. You should add a line to your mod.conf too. https://github.com/ComputeGraphics/Minetest-Tamicolor-Mod is out of date btw
After merging that PR, if you do, you need to add a line with
depends = default
. You use items from that modYou have some mod.conf settings that will mess with releases https://github.com/ComputeGraphics/Minetest-Tamicolor-Mod/pull/3
Delete all the files and upload the latest ones
Why not update it? It's a lot easier to make releases then.
@cHyper your review isn't being counted by the CDB system. You need to create your own review instead of commenting on someone else's
3 - This isn't going to work because you put your textures folder by itself in its own branch. I'm curious as to what your reason for this was
Fine with me
/set time_speed 72
might fix it. Also make sure you're up-to-date. Maybe try digging the furnace and placing it againMusic is great, the landscape looks great, and the mobs are done in mobkit.
What more could you want?Hmmm, it looks like this was created before this mod, which has the same name
