I use this mod to add home furniture because i like the texture and it doesn't add too much things. It also adds enchantment table, ender chest and a workbench to cut blocks.
I'm obviously biased, as I'm the one who developed arena_lib, but Murder is quite a classic available in different games outside of Minetest. Sounds added in the 1.1.0 definitely increased the quality of the mod, as people can now understand their role much easier than before (it's also more immersive)
Mod Appears to be Unmaintained? Server Crashed on 5.3
Crashed on my server upon doing /seeplayerinfo or whatever it was on 5.3. Seeing as the mod was unattended for so long (over a year) it's may be unmaintained at least currently?
Fun and Expendable but... At the Price of Stability in Performance and Unreliable Attending
In short there is uncontained pistion cycling and it was left for many months before it recieved the attention that the fact it's a offical bug and queuned for 1.3 iteration of the mod. Source/Proof:https://github.com/minetest-mods/mesecons/issues/499
Hopefully the mod maintainers will be attending and fix these considerably more promptly as possible. Given at the current rate I see it a serious concern for servers.
Expendable, simple to use and reliable. What's more to say about a protection mod I am right? Additionally as this is their mod you can most certainly be assured they will be there for any concerns or bugs that may arise. :)
I just used it a lot yesterday and I love it! Plus the fact as you are using this author's mod they are very dependable so it can safely be used on servers knowing it will works and if not they will be there to address any concerns/bugs.

Nodecore's 'punish you for not being careful' style makes it a challenging game. Also, multiplayer tends to lend itself to a lot of collaboration do to specialization and emerging tech with machines that can be built inside the game.
I love this mod because it gives the player the ability to travel around the map very quickly. Players can link multiple travelnets together on one network. This make saving locations like home, mines, certain biomes, shops, or other POI easier.

One of the best features for me is that this mod allows you to double ore output by grinding the ores and then cooking the ground ore into an ingot. This is extremely beneficial to new players who haven't found many resources.
There are several forks for this mod. I personally like the ones that support HV machines and chests that have more features.

If you have an idea for a mob, this will take care of all the basic function and also has some added functions to easily extend mob behavior! It is well maintained and reported bugs are squashed in a timely way!

It's a great mod that's clearly had a ton of effort put into it, but it's unfortunately confusing and difficult for the beginner to use. It's also practically impossible to build a contraption whose functionality is hidden behind a wall etc I found - or maybe I've just missed something.
This texture pack is my personal favorite, and it makes me want to invest in adding additional textures for the other mods that I frequently use so that it all matches up.

Very very useful, but broken since 5.3.0
The author doesn't seem to be active anymore and exposing the zoom key broke the mod. There is a working fork tho

Makes terrain look much nicer
Not needed as much now since MTG applied some of the changes this texturepack brings. There are still things this texturepack 'fixes' though

It's a great mod that's clearly had a ton of effort put into it, but it's unfortunately confusing and difficult for the beginner to use. It's also practically impossible to build a contraption whose functionality is hidden behind a wall etc I found - or maybe I've just missed something.

This texture pack is my personal favorite, and it makes me want to invest in adding additional textures for the other mods that I frequently use so that it all matches up.
