Dev has a nice artstyle, I like it!
The hues are really nice, other than that it adds quite a lot of nice content! it does stand out a little too much (good or bad depending on who you ask) and might not be acceptable to 16x16 purists
Light Weight and Realistic
Looks good with bloom, Godrays, shadows on max, waving liquids and leaves, plus super performant because its only 64x64, Super epic
Great mod with simple content, saws and hammers are fairly useless but still awesome
But on a much more serious note, what exactly is kalite, why does it burn, why can you eat it, and what does it taste like? this has been plagueing my mind for the longest time, is it some subterranean flesh creature that embeds itself into stone that is wrongfully classified as a mineral, a plant? does it taste like raspberrys? i legitimately have no clue.
oh yeah, and theres stained glass and some system that lets you upgrade your tools but i have no idea how it works and if you can even use it, so dont think too much about that, everyones here for kalite and nothing else.
Fun Survival Challenge, but sometimes super easy by pure chance
Its a lot like gambling, but significantly more fun as you dont lose money by doing it and actually can afford to pay child support, booting up a new world and seeing the ground made of diamonds is always fantastic, until you realize theres literally no food in sight for miles around and you are going to die in 2 minutes from starvation, so then you start running around like crazy, BUT OH NOES, the sand has got replaced with lava, so you cant leave the island your trapped in, so you hury up and craft some planks to bridge over the lava, get across the ocean, but then die immediately as you touch land because you starved to death. but at least theres no real world consequences in this mod so its a OK
Its not as in depth as Minecr#ft banners, but simplicity can be beautiful sometimes
the good thing about the simple patterns is that it can prevent bad designs from no gooders on the server, plus these look perfect for a castle setting, however, as of modern times, I believe this mod has been merged with castle decor to a certain extent, but if you just want neat banners to decorate your fantasy dwelling, these are absolutely a must have!
Aether Style Gauntlets
The aether mod was such a revolutionary mod in the history of gaming, flying whales, ambrosium, zanite crystals, the ellusive gravitite that once smelted immediately became a full block for some reason and also strangely yeets your foes into the air, all of this great content, but clearly, the most important feature in the whole mod that needed to be in minetest, guantlets, is FINALLY HERE, everyone can finally complete their set of armor with epic gauntlets, having swordfights is so much less stressful now that you dont have to worry about losing your pinky finger1
Feels like Minecr#ft but voxellibre at the same time
This texture pack is one of my favorites, refi textures takes way too long to load, but this pack only makes small minute changes, so its pretty easy and doesnt hog your precious time, the colors are faithful to classic MC textures but still maintain the shape and style of voxelibre, I love this pack and am even planning on contributing to it.
ARGGHGHH ME MATIES!!
LETS GO PLUNDER SOME MESE BOOTEY ON THE CELERON 55 SEAS,, ARGGHGHHHH ME SAMMIES!!!
Because Gamers love being tidier in their virtual worlds over their own rooms they dwell in!
I love this mod simply because of the visuals alone, the shelves kind of jut out a little and they come in all vanilla wood types, once you insert and item, it will show the icon allowing you to identify where you actually put your mese blocks, pretty useful especially compared to signs which are not visual and can be quite blande, essential when working with tech to spice things up in an otherwise grey and bleak environment
Make a beautiful Factory, or mine ores better than ever before, the choice is yours!
This mod really adds a bunch of neat features, for starters, you can mine ice with an ice pick, it adds a bit of immersion, and it comes in only 2 variants from what i have played so its along the lines of the farming mod hoe, but it has a niche use that makes you feel like your making an efficient use of resources when you use the ice pickaxe to mine ice instead of the normal one, really cool idea, the concrete block set is real nice and the developer star ninjas even gave them their own sounds to make them sound more rubbely? if thats the right word, the new vessels, shelves, and doors also add variety, its a bunch of misc content but it all comes together in a nice little package, pairs well with technic as they both share similar themes, but the concrete might actually conflict with basic materials concrete/cement, so that could potentially be an issue, other than that i had quite a lot of fun with this on a server, would recommend this mod to survival and creative builders, also having desert varients of things is great, now theirs an actual reason to go there! :)
We have fool's gold (pyrite) now we have fool's diamonds (aquamarine)except the mod dev is no fool:)
jokes asside, its always nice to have new tool tiers and having people passionate about their favorite real life minerals, something important with game design is knowing that its ok to implement your own features even if you think other people wont enjoy them, having things you like in your own game is very important, because if not, then its not your game.
The mod is more of a ore library than anything
The mod is pretty much useless, by design it seems so, It seems the main premise is for devs to add functionality and support to this mod in their own mods, that does actually sound cool, until you realize your still carrying around all the ores that you arent using for your specific usecase, still, cool tho, and rainbow caverns are always nice to look at. minerals are just as important as vitamins, except in Minecr#ft where copper is a completely useless ore.
Everness is Everyess
I have played on this mod on multiple occasions, this mod is designed to be compatible with as many games as possible, voxelibre, minetest, heck i think it even works with nodecore (even tho you possibly shouldnt do that) the mod adds a dozen new biomes to explore each with their own cave systems, it captures the feel of 2014 minecraft modpacks filled with the most random and awesome dimensions youve ever came across, and there are hundreds of new building blocks, a few tools like a 3x3 mining hammer with a powerful upgrade, my only complaint is the mod is too derivitive of better nether and better end, but its actually not too bad of a con considering those are two AMAZING mods, this mod is the spiritual successor to ethereal.
The worst minetest game ever designed
You have to set up the entire game manually, the game doesnt do anything original but create a significantly worse version of pacman as you cant see from top down so yourlikely to backtrack a lot, the models are a bit weird and yes, its based off minetest game for some reason, please stay far away from this game. the game could be good but only with a total rewrite and actual programming.
Not just for 3D printing, create simple 3D models
You can use this to create simple low poly 3D models, excellent tool for young children to learn creativity and maybe make basic animations in blender, all that is required here is basic minetest/luanti knoledge, and you already have a genius kid who does that, you can get him to create interesting things with the settup, and even print the toys like action figures and minecr#ft creepers without having to pay too much money given that you already have a 3D printer, your kid will enjoy to play with the fun minetest toys he creates <3
Delightful game for kids
This game has many colors which will appeal to young children if you have a child who plays minetest but has anger issues and cant tolerate games with death systems and is more creative, this is a perfect game for them, there is 100s of blocks in disposal with most of them having multiple variants, also fun to explore, good rage free game for young kids
Cool for builders
Sometimes some weathered down blocks can add some neccesary texture to a build, this is already seen in minetest game but to a lesser extent with mossy cobblestone, having this genuinely makes your builds pop if manually added, but also makes them integrate more naturally into the environment overtime have you built something in water.
One time I tried playing this with my eyes actually closed
SO that way i couldnt see the particals, and in turn made it more challenging for myself, i forgot if i actually got far or not, all i heard was a bunch of sound effects, very weird and confusing game.
Fun if your bored
Driving games are always fun, but your better off playing mario kart, more of a proof of concept for terrain generation and not much else. :)
It has a nice style, but isnt too different from Minetest Game to actually be a worthwhile experienc
Ive played this game several times and it does have some nice mapgen going on, and some really great textures and original mobs, but I just cant see any reason why youd want to play this as a standalone game, theres not enough content to keep things engaging, it would possibly work best a modding base in my opinion so I'd likely stay tuned on this.
Whats the point?
World edit exists already, this mod doesnt improve on the idea in any ways and as someone previously said uses extremely inefficient methods, if you are going to make an alternative, at least make it better than the original, this is just a stripped down version of world edit. im giving this a neutral because it does what its supposed too if not too well
A bit too complicated but very well featured
Its very useful for server owners, but it requires knoledge of commands, so there is a bit of work you need to put into it, luckily there is documentation to help.
Visuals Feel Enhanced, nice!
THe visuals are neat here, the tones have been shifted but it greatly leans the atmosphere to a somewhat nostalgic feel to classic minetest, where it felt almost like minecr#ft, but not quite there without crossing into uncanny valley (except classic minetest had the weirdest grass texture of all time and it wasnt green)
Add air pickaxe
I need to mine blocks faster. diamonds arent enough, mese as been worthless ever since diamonds were added, please..
Extremely Trippy, reminds me of AgentCubes
It's exactly what it says it is, the snake game in Minetest, fairly bug free and works as youd expect, im assuming moves are done internally before being reflected in nodes, i have tried to commit word puzzle inside the game by ramming into myself and i died before it actually showed up.
It works.. It just does
It doesnt do too much, is super light weight, and provides tree cutter functionality, not too mention the tree doesnt go down instantly, so it looks visually interesting!
Placing tools is actually amazing and the models are awesome, (even if not blocky)
There are few blocks that can add a lot to a simple build, dressers, piles of treasure, golden furniture, several neglected features have been given uses they havent seen before, i recommend this mod for builders who player voxelibre, all the new food sources are neat too, lots of new features that are simple and dont have much mechanical depth, so its very begginer friendly.
Ports Minecr#ft swamp biomes to Minetest game is a simple Vanilla Plus way
I heavily recommend this mod for people who enjoy Minetest game but think Mineclone/Voxelibre is a bit too much, its a great mod and having 2 new palletes of blocks to build with being mangrove and mud actually works really well, especially with red and brown tones allowing to create some japanese inspired builds, cool mod in general
It has good attention but gives a really bad first impression for new players
I get its designed to prevent tree punching and there are performance reasons to do it, but its far too tedious to deal with, there are other better mods that do a similar thing, it does have its uses, but it isnt for me, but what it does do might appeal to you. :)
The mod doesnt add much to gameplay and can easily be avoided by simply sleeping
The mod does not work as a concept, it will hardly show up during gameplay since you wont be dying much except in extreme environments, but you can just afk until night to sleep and avoid the challenge, completely pointless mods and it would be best to generally remove beds and rework spawning mechanics instead and/or introduce a more endgame spawning system.
Studier looking shovels
The shovels actually look pretty powerful now, if not heavier, might have to work out a while and eat several meat blocks for the protein required to weild one of these bad boys
Doesnt really fit into default, but is still beautiful regardless
it doesnt clash too much with minetest game, and it does make the computer have to deal with less rendering load, especially in rooms filled with pipes and cables, other than that a full texture pack in this style would be great for visual consistency, pretty good pack!
Excellent base game that got me into Minetest game dev.
without this and nathan salapart modding tutorials, I wouldnt have started developing for minetest without this, my first games limboarria and ketchuptest used this as a base, it provides the basic node defs and you can go from their, its pretty great as a base game and is also a good fit for testing game agnostic mods,
Faithful Port from another Block game.
Its a really great and interesting mod, I recommend it should you want to have more Minecr#ft mechanics in your world, goes great in library builds, (and collecting the resources to construct the respective libraries) lots of useful enchantments when diamonds or mese arent enough, you can become seriously overpowered, very useful in survival scenarios XD
Allows you to make furniture out of something other than stairs and signs
It adds checkerboard tiles, curtains, tables, chairs, it feels like a port of mr crayfishes furniture mod to voxelibre, really well designed and featured without adding as much as other mods like homedecor, all of the furniture will have a nice place in your home and inside your mods folder, and also your heart. download it today :)
Adds dozens of useful armors
My only complaint is why is there gold armor instead of mese? mese is significantly more iconic and gold is actually a terrible material to make armor out of, but hey, at least gold is actually somewhat "useful" now.
First Person Super Copyrighted Italian Game
This game is pretty fun especially speedrunning it, also the mushrooms are blue berry muffins, yay!
Just a simple addition to jungles,
Ive played this on a v6 world and from what i could gather it adds birch trees and swamp logs, also the divots of swamp water are extremely deep, dont drown in them...
Extremely well featured Aether esque
Ive played on this mod on multiple occasions, by default, when you enter you lose ALL your supplies and have to start from scratch in the nethers tech tree, thankfully your given a guide, and oh.. dont try to escape, youll never escape. unless you build the exit portal, and by the way, theres definitely not a jungle so dont go looking for it, it totally doesnt exist ;)
Is that m- oh its just hemp.
This mod used to have a lot of miss matched content that would clash which each other, as of now it has significantly less thanks to contributers, so i can happily say this mod is welcome on a lot of worlds from luanti purists who prefer 16x16 on everything, the mod is weirdly obsessed with hemp, hemp blocks, hemp ropes, hemp mush?? we got pumpkins, beetroots, sunflowers, chocolate and a lot of other interesting things, and yes before you ask, there is a hamburger
Classic M#necraft mod gets a mechanic ported
ive never really known anyone who used the actually used the turtles from computer craft, they always used the monitors to regular nuclear power plants and galacticraft space stations, but having these guys running around doing tasks is pretty useful since most people actually dont want to play minetest game with you and would mutch rather prefer to play nodecore or voxelibre instead :(
Simple and less obscure nodecore
This game is heavily inspired by nodecore on a fundamental level, but a majority of the puzzle mechanics are completely gone, im not sure what the approach is but it can likely evolve into something very interesting with enough time.
Much more convenient way to see whos online instead of scrolling through logs
With the simple press of a button I can see whos online on my server IF I HAD ONE, its fairly convenient and a great port of a similar Minecr#ft feature, unfortunately since it can only be bound to either bound to aux sneak or any of the wasd keys thanks to the config, its definitely going to be somewhat intrusive during gameplay but this is of course an engine limitation as a result of the minetest engine.
Required if your chopping the same tree
an issue youll typically come across is you and your friend will simultaniously break the same block of log and then one of you realizes you wasted your time unnessacarily breaking that part of the tree, with this mod you can better identify whos breaking what and actually end up with trees in your inventory instead of just sawdust
A neat take on T#rrarias corruption biome
This mod is in essense just the corruption biome from t#rraria, but as a mod, its fairly small but has quite a lot of content with even a boss to eventually reach and defeat, you cant completely clean the world of the infection, but you can prevent it from spreading further, only gripe is that the crafting recipe is way too cheap so newbs on your server can easily wreak havoc on the landscape against your will, but at least its better than random houses built of wool/camo and nyancat blocks with home decor furniture tacked on XD
Forces you to tend to your gardens
at first glance the mod seems as a joke, but it adds a hint of realism as you have to prevent the weeds from growing out of control around your house, its a weird concept and i can see it used in a hard subgame of some kind.
Insane amount of variety, dev is insane!
I have dug into this mod in creative and some attempts in survival, there is a crazy amount of underground variety, giant multicolored caverns, slimy eyeballs, very weird at times but it essentially creates indepent worlds in the depths of the caverns. very interesting from a conceptual standpoint, theres a addon by the same dev that adds more content to it! so the mod has an expansion pack making it even better than before
A bit too plasticine?.
The textures dont really have much depth and appear with an almost plastic quality, a lot of detail is gone, I get it's trying to go for a modern updating aesthetic but it feels more like a downgrade than anything, but hey, points for trying! :)
Perfectly captures the classic Minecr#ft aesthetic, if not a bit..... green..
Yeah, its pretty much minecr#fts classic textures, replicated pretty well while still being legally distinct, they look amazing and like a weird alternate universe version of minecr#fts, that is, if it was green. for some reason the author really loves the color green but i cant blame him, does make it come off as a pvp texture pack because of the color scheme but i digress
Works on skyblock servers, but anywhere else? Stupidly overpowered
Compressing 10 coal dust regardless of where you are in the game is way too cheap for a recipe, it causing more problems then it solves and the description is absolutely right for mentioning the potential harm it can generally cause on server.
It does only one thing, using simple mechanics, but does it well!
this mod implements in tinted glass, which is essentially glass that lets you see through but no light is allowed to pass, this has so many neat use cases like mob farms, fine tuned lighting in bases to create some atmosphere which we all desire. One of the best mods for Minetest/luanti ive seen and it does so little but so much at the same time.
Crazy things are going to come for this
as i was mentioning earlier about another mod that seems to be attempting to recreate gregtech mechanics to a certain extent, this is sure leaning into copious amounts of tech related materials and we could have something crazy on our hands, is it terrifying? yes, but dont we all want giant machines in our base and nuclear reactors their too? yeah!, of Course!!
Im usually against quality of life but...
This mod opens so many posibilities and is essentially required for any sort of ocean building, especially on v5 maps where oceans can be hundreds of blocks deep making it practically impossible to build any sort of floating ship without bridges out from land first, definitely a good mod for anyone who wants to build pirate ships and the like
When basic torch launchers werent enough.
This mod completely changes the way you light up caves, its great for getting rid of areas where pesky mobs can spawn while making the area signicantly more visible, perfect for when a torch bow wasnt enough to light your way.
Modular yet complex and balanced alternative to Minecr#fts countless 3x3 mining hammer mods
This mod allows you to create custom bore drills to dig into cliffs and carve out secret rooms, mine for ores, make railway tracks through mountains, you name it! but where this mod really signs is its modularity, overal its a pretty great mod.
Extremely simple yet realistic biomes that fit a little TOO well into Minetest game
It perfectly replicates the charm of base Minetest game while providing more bio diversity, definitely an interesting mod, the new fruits and berries are epic! as well as the new woodsets, also biome tinted grass is also a nice addition to carry over from minecr#ft
Extremely lightweight but crucial farming mod
It has all the crucial and important stuff youd expect from a farming mod, its pretty neat especially when the two main competitors add quite a lot, sometimes simplicity is a great thing :)
Reminds me of RFTools
The teleporter in this mod reminds me of rf tools, its a pretty good tech mod as its a break of fresh air from technic, the mod is thankfully still being updated by contributors so you can still play it :)
Good game agnostic mod for testing out nodes and items
I use this along with sz_givemenu when testing out my projects and searching for items in projects which dont have creative inventory systems, simple but useful
Cool Reminds me of Gregtech
I was looking for a mod like this for a longer time, its a neat little touch to crafting, even if it isnt that immersive, still really cool and makes the game more sensical
Its like diamonds but read, great for variety but doesnt provide much to the table otherwise
fairly simple mod, only use case i could see is personal vanity or building, pretty cool mod otherwise
Extremely Must Have tool for any mod/game creator
This is absolutely nessacary for creating schematics, simple and easy to use and has a variety of features, you can set the probability a node would spawn on a schematic, like if you wanted an apple to be rare, its pretty simple and easy to use.
How do I play
I spawn into the air forest biome and i have no idea what the end goal of the game is, i crafted myself a full set of air armor and i presume there is some sort of end goal the dev had in mind but its extremely confusing, someone please help
A Fun Simple twist on classic voxel gameplay
This game is fairly simple but it does a lot of interesting things that help it stand out, the game has a painting system allowing you to color nodes through the use of the paintbrush tool, doing things in this game is pretty easy and it isnt really designed to waste you time, but it still heavily incentivizes you to take it slow, there are no end goals and thats what makes it so special, it feels a lot like m#necraft 1.0 without the ender dragon, good game overall :)
Extremely impressive use of formspec and related features
This is actually really cool, there is a full blown 3d rendering engine in this game that runs a watered down version of doom that still has the fundamentals, its really simple tho so dont expect to be in the game for hours, its more of a tech demo than anything else and it absolute shines in the regard.
I love this mese monster design
The mese monster was my favorite mob and unfortunately it got remodeled and retextures, licensing issues perhaps? anyways this mod rectifies this by bringing it back as its own entity, its a great mod and brings back some memories.
Its not the best, but it does pretty well and theres not a lot of mods like it
The mod is fairly derivitive to Vanilla Minecraft, with a few exceptions such as the etherium desert, burnt forest, lava lands with those pointy basandra bushes, the illumishrooms help you see in the caves while mining so thats neat, especially when you run out of coal and need to craft a quick torch in order to be able to see since they exclusively grow on coal ore, the mod is really great even if quite a bit of the art clashes and it hasnt aged well. its still one of the good mods for minetest Game/Luanti
Uncanny yet useful mod
The peices clash very uncannily with the nodecore world, but on the bright side, at least they allow you to play the game of chess without having to create a copious amount of tools to represent the set peices, overall its a good quality of life mod even if the respective peices can be a bit jarring.
Not a single game has replicated the playing Minecraft the first time experience
Why? because this game ISNT minecraft and isnt designed to be like minecraft, its only similar in the voxel based world and sandbox nature, i vividly remember playing nodecore for the first time because of how iconic the visuals were, simple geometric shapes, although, it took me a day or two of gameplay to craft the first very useful item on my way to the ultimate tier, (wanted to hide spoilers for obvious reasons)
Pretty cool blood mod (but not blood test :P XD)
I have used this mod in numorous occasions especially mainly to shock people who decide to join me, its really funny and their reactions are priceless
New hats
Similarly to the leads mod being a port of a minecraft mechanic, this mod allows you to put blocks on your head, very useful and awesome.
Good for power lines and rope bridges, excellent port
You can use this for building lines to decorate builds like bridges by using them as the handles, fortunately this doesnt require you to use the incredibly hacky solution of shoving a chicken into a hole tied to the rope to give the illusion its tied to the ground as the leads can thankfully attach between posts without mobs, good mod that fixes some of the issues with the original concept
Useful when your trapped underground with no wood
Sometimes you just get stuck in a cave with your only way out being death, this mod thankfully fixes that by adding a simple yet useful stone pickaxe to help you get out of your conundrum
Extremely useful game for those whos computers are too weak to run M###craft
ive been playing on and off and its pretty fun, the devs seem to be leaning away from mc and its great, we are getting tonnes of exclusive content recently and its helping it stand out, other than that ive noticed it runs extremely well and optimized on my pc, good game :)
Fun, reminds me of the legacy console edition tutorial worlds
its simple and nostalgic considering it uses classic minetest visuals, game agnostic so knowledge here should theoretically apply to any other luanti game but is primarily minetest game focused, other than that its extremely well designed and balances show and tell quite well so your actually putting the principals into action
The create mod should now be theoretically possible
Seriously an interesting project, there has been similar things in the past and i do hope someone runs with this and makes something cool like a mod where you can build custom vehicles or moving machines,
You can drink lava without negative side effects
You can also eat sand, perfect for getting vital minerals and nutrients
T#rraria Esque system but with extra steps
This system is very reminiscent of journey mode but significantly more survival friendly, unlike journey mode where you basically have the ability to create essentially infinite blocks/tiles or walls, you actually have to have a settup to actually begin the process and its genuinely interesting, cool mod!
Minecraft Stronghold esque Dungeons? Yes Please!!
Absolutely awesome mod, the libraries are awesome and remind me of playing minecraft back in the day and walking around the stronghold libraries, pretty cool mod
Fun and has a lot of great ideas but relies too much on tell dont show
The game essentially requires you to constantly be reading the guide book, you are unable to understand what your meant to be doing unless you have a friend guiding you (which i had in my personal play sessions) or read an extremely lenghty and boring guide, this would of been my cup of tea but this one medium sized issue really ruins the whole experience for me, the guidebook is not as clear, simple or visually interesting as minecraft ftb questlines.
It lets you vandalize, :D
your friends glass houses are no longer safe with this house, completely demolished! but at least your providing them with a sturdier more rockier building material, that being bricks >:) so maybe your actually doing them a favor
Played it the other day, was pretty confused and clueless
The game seems heavily inspired by my game limboarria, but i have no idea what the goal is besides combining natural looking earthy nodes into rather boring looking solid color atoms, i have no idea what the goal is here without possibly peering into the source code to find out.
its funny, but its clearly the authors first mod/game
its obviously a joke that satarizes convoluted crafting recipes, pretty hilarious.
Weird this wasnt a default setting but anyways
Glad this is a mod, its such a common place feature in Minecraft mods for the longest time and seeing it in luanti is actually great, the mapping kit was always just more a demo on how you can give the player privilidges using certain items, this mod is pretty good!
Great idea, woudlve came in handy ages ago
When you have extreme amounts of content in Luanti/minetest its not too big of an issue, but you eventually decide to get this one really cool complex item then realize one of its pre requisites conflicts with an item from a completely unrelated mod! this was me on a server with the laptop mod, i wasnt able to craft my own, but thanks to this its now possible!
Well documented Refined Storage port to minetest
The mod is well featured and doesnt fall into the common issue of tech based mods not providing enough documentation to actually get into without peeping the source code, extremely useful mod for mass storage of items if you are in a technical setting or otherwise, definitely something ive been looking for a while..
Balanced
The mod is a pretty well balanced way for navigating your world, instead of utilizing jet packs or even the fly privilidge you can just use the mod to get around easily but in order to use it you must design towers to give yourself some space between you and the ground to maximize the distance you can go, so infrastructure is actually encouraged, fun design that invites new gameplay, :)
The Jappa touch for Minetest Game and derivitives
Actually enhances the visual style, the same overall feel is maintained but several designs are drastically reworked to make them stand out in the world, its visually appealing and cohesive, definitely a good choice for any world.
User friendly and fun intuitive world builder alt
I personally use this for designing natural looking structures like trees the creative tools are a breeze to work with plus the full bright feature does help with testing mob spawn rates without the use of debug, pretty good mod
Stupidly simple yet Clever
this is such a simple way to implement survival mode flight, it just works and makes thematic sense, essentially you are the CRANE tool itself, as opposed to using one, which honestly wouldnt really work in first person, great mod!
I Like it, simple and fun
Ive built a bit in this game and theres definitely not much to do but build, and thats pretty much all you do, its not boring but gets stale quickly unless your a highly creative individual who knows what they are doing.
I love it but misdirection makes the game feel extremely uncanny
whenever i play this game I notice just how many weird little details supposedly added in for realism that just make mods generally appear out of place, marram grass, bushes, there is a very weird amount of variety for what is supposedly meant to be a modding base, it kind of changes your standards to be in some sort of realistic level that some may or may not want to be a part of, it used to be a good modding base but these weird deccisions have collectively made the community lose faith in it and move more towards independent subgames
The ghost config is a nice touch
My main gripe with most Luanti/Minetest hardcore mods is how you essentially gatekept out of your world after you die, but here you at least have the setting to allow you to admire all the builds you poured countless hours into, too bad its underrated.
Timeful art dead on arrival
Like hugghes said, this is just a glorified satirization of bitcoin but its not really that funny and is more of a time waster if you actually went after the 1/8000 chance of getting a coin, the visuals being based on infiniminer is a hilarious touch tho but other than that its not worth your time and isnt designed to be either.
Terrifying atmosphere liminal space adventure game
This game is a pretty fun experience, ive booted up a server and brought too of my friends on it as we wandered around looking for the exits to the next stages, the atmosphere is well designed and using global textures really helped prevent walls from looking too repetitive, but what really impresses me is how this stands as a tech demo of what can actually be done in Minetest/Luanti mapgen wise, the backrooms is in essence a giant dungeon without monsters with well designed atmosphere while larger levels often have what feels to be deliberately placed setpieces despite it all being handled with lua and presumably a few schematic prefabs, overall its a fun experience and really sells luanti/minetest as an engine.
Genuinely fun toy game that harkens back to classic Minecraft mods
The game feels a lot like a bunch of random pieces put together but still manages to be a cohesive experience, you start out by entering the candy dimension and eventually step up the dimensional ladder, its quite a fun experience and is one of my favorite game, lots of experimental mechanics such as 2d mode that let you essentially play a simple version of the classic Super M###o in your worlds, the cannabalistic tomato people are hilarious, 10 randomly generated npc names out of 10
I love collecting them
In my survival world I collect the slugs and put them into my chest, I have no idea what ill ever do with them but im happy they are there and it will stay that way indefinitely
Doesn't add much but what it does add does set the tone and is welcome on most tech scenarios
I fell in love with this mod on an old now shut down server, I built a space station out of plastic blocks (unrelated mod) and it was quite a fun vibe, even now despite undergoing no changes, the mod is always a great blank slate for your creativity, :)
(near) flawlessly replecates the Tinker's Construct experience within Minetest/Luanti
I like this mod because how faithful it is to a certain java/bedrock addon which I have already mentioned but wont bother so again, it works exactly how youd expect and even has support for some of the most popular content mods, i built a pretty tall forge in my survival world and its pretty cool to create custom tailor made tools, only problem is that you cant see the fluids inside the smeltery but thats more of an engine limitation then anything
Easy KISS system with tons of resources available,
I find this mod to be pretty good especially when i developed terra libmt, thanks to how frantically simple it is to register new entities in such a sort amount of time, of course if you want more fine tuning you can definitely use something like animalia but for begginers or simple use cases like basic hostile mobs ie (zombies, skeletons) this is definitely right up everyones ally.
Not a fan of the extra node shapes but more textures are always nice in building
This mod adds a handful of materials utilizing Minetest Games blockpallete, despite games like minecr#ft where there are so many items and blocks and even systems that dont amount to anything, this is more of a cherry on top rather than trying to fill in the gaps, its always nice to see on servers and you can create some nice things, even if the amount of node shapes somewhat concern me in terms of node id limits
Simple yet well featured. Making the wheel not the steamroller.
I think this mod does a lot of things right and is a suitible alternative to mesecons, significantly smaller but theres a lot less to worry with when your dealing with simple parts as opposed to the complex systems mesecons generally has to offer, of course like all things you can create emergent systems so if you prefer those its right up your ally for you :)
