Well-designed and fun to use, this mod is perfect for a nice few hours pastime. Even better when paired with technic, mesecons, and pipeworks. Make sure you don't fall over the edge! I recommend this mod. Thank you NO11!
Blows everything that came before it out of the water
AdvTrains Livery Tools fulfills the brief for just about every discussion put forward so far about livery features for AdvTrains, and does so in such an intuitively designed, user-friendly way. Marnack has achieved here what many have discussed but not actually gone and done.
Before Livery Tools, the best we had was doxygen_spammer's Multi-component liveries (part of doxy's Minitram). That involved the use of the external dependency on Bike Mod, and an arduous process of memorising and recalling a few "special" numbers on the Bike Painter to apply special painting functions. No more! With Livery Tools, it's all laid out in an intuitive formspec with so many presets to help you along and an instant preview.
Livery Tools is survival-friendly, with a crafting recipe provided for Minetest Game (the only really support game for AdvTrains) to craft its core item, the Livery Designer Tool. The Designer Tool has four tabs:
The Current Livery tab is a simple preview/descriptive formspec
The editor tab is the main tab you will be using. One simply selects a template, basically a set of shaped layers, and then what paint to apply to all of those layers. There are preset colour names plus a great colour selector dialogue. here you can also get template information or save the livery to apply it again to another wagon.
The Saved Livery tab lets you quickly apply the same livery you just made to more wagons.
Predefined Liveries is great to apply liveries that the mod author or others have made, which is great for inspiration. One of the really great features stands out here, which is the ability to apply liveries from 3rd-party packs to your wagons.
Livery Tools brings us the ability for in-depth customisation for those who want it, plus the ability to make templates to inspire. It's a creative breakthrough, and I can' t recommend it enough.
Best passenger coaches (carriages) mod for AdvTrains to date
Based on previous work for InterCity/Nightline carriages originally made for LinuxForks Moretrains, Marnack presents us with a whole new world of customisation in this mod which is the first to have support for his AdvTrains Livery Tools mod. Unlike most carriages, which at most offer the ability to change a single colour, this set is customisable in-depth.
Classic Coaches also comes with a great set of features that are better than many AdvTrains mods: Door animations, crafting recipes, livery customisation and internationalisation support.
I recommend Classic Coaches to anyone who wants a quality set of diesel/electric locomotive-hauled passenger carriages that stands well on its own, and enthusiasts who want to customise their rolling stock. Players could create customisations on this solid foundation to add company logos to their rolling stock easily and use them in a variety of colour options.
I can't recommend Classic Coaches in a few niche scenarios. First, drawing these coaches is more computionally expensive than using flat textures due to the number of overlayed and colorised textures present on each wagon, so maybe avoid them if you are playing on a potato, or a tightly constrained server (the server must calculate the texture strings to apply when a carriage pops into viewing range of a player). You can use the mod without AdvTrains Livery Tools if you want.
A beautiful atmosphere with calming and soothing textures
I love it.
…and I'm so thankful to be able to really play with it in Minetest - because it's versions were difficult to use in Minecraft because of incompatabilities.
Expanding the range of textures to different modpacks (like mesecons, hyperloop, techage) would make it even more awesome ❤️
This may be a biome-adding mod, but get ready for a whole bunch of items you didn't expect- this one is pretty well rounded and adds an awful lot. It can definitely feel a bit bloaty at times, but there's a lot of upside.
The biomes themselves are innovative and fun to explore, except the mushroom biome (my opinion), which seems too repetitive to be interesting after a while. The swamps and volcanoes are some of my favorite. If that mushroom biome or anything else ends up being more common than you'd like it, you'll need to edit the mod settings.
Plenty of feature-rich items, or nodes with a lot of aesthetic appeal, make this worth the "bloat". The crystal tools work like Silk Touch in Minecraft, as well as providing a good reason to find the rare Crystal biome. The added fishing api doesn't seem to fit the mod at first look, but it has differing drops per-biome (fitting it into ethereal's biomes nicely), multiple species of fish, and a few interesting food items. This mod also offers a way to make infinite mese, although it's tough enough that only an experienced user could make a proper farm (and they get big!).
The mapgen is also quite light-weight compared to other biome adding mods. So - if you can handle the extra item count and like what you see - this is for you! Recommended.
i3 is an extremely well-designed and well-thought out inventory mod. Everything is almost perfect. However, it would be nice to have a Creative crafting guide; and there seems to be some sort of bug with the skins. When Edit Skin, for example, is enabled with i3, my reach in Creative will be about four metres, instead of ten. I still have not been able to find the exact code source of this bug, but it has been very annoying and I would love to see it fixed.
Otherwise 100% recommended! Thank you, jp, for many hours of wonderful time in Minetest with a brilliant inventory.
These animals are brilliant! With slick animations, nice textures, actual lassos and bucking broncos, this really is the best animal mod yet. I would love to see different sorts of jungle animals here, such as snakes, tigers and such. 100% recommended! Thank you ElCeejo! I can't wait to see what's next.
These dragons best everything, even dmobs. With slick animation, cool controls, and ridiculously hard to beat powers, these dragons are very fun. Absolutely recommended! By the way, I was trying to fly a Creative ice dragon into my castle, and a huge chunk of the castle disappeared where the dragon was. Was taking nodes away intentionally added in the programming?

I think this is a nice idea, and a simple solution to wanting to mark paths between places.
Things I would like to see added:
1. Holding left mouse button should repeatedly punch, as with other tools, so that I can just walk and mark paths as I go.
2. Other path types should be supported, not just grass surfaces.
The new dimensions are cool. Now you can search for a place you like and built in the fitting landscape. But if your planning to use this in multi-player, DON'T DO That . The areas don't unload properly, and you just get strange blobs in the sky. After having multiple areas loadet across many dimensions my server startet lagging. At the point when too many parts are loaded, the lag got very annoying.
The wisps just fly around and look good. I like the ability to prevent fires and easily clear grass. But be careful because you might get lag. I had a base next to huge trees and I got strange lag as soon as it was getting dark because there spawned an insane amount of wisps under the trees. After disabling wisps, the lag disappeared.
i very much like this mod. it makes the base minetest experience seem much more polished and good. i have a few questions though. has it been tested on Android because i wanted to get it on my tablet and it was unable to run the game. also is there a way to set custom colors? the only one i do not really like is the jungle sky because the sky is not usually green. maybe it just needs a lighter tint but i found it weird when playing the game. anyways thank you for this wonderful mod it really contributes to the minetest experience. 👍
edit: oh i see now there may be a guide for how to set custom colors i just did not read the full description.
Nice for contemplating the mathematical reality and (maybe) good for some minigames.
To be used in a minigame where the player would be required to run from the deadly abnormally fast growing cells, the blocks would have to damage any bystander. Overall, cool, but 3D automata slows down significantly after a few cycles, according to my observations.
I like discovering caves and traversing the depths a lot more when I have this mod installed, the goblins add risk and reward when mining. Avoiding traps, remembering to keep weapons out of your hands, and trading with them to hopefully get something great in return. The animations are very good, as are the behaviors they exhibit.
i can't tell you how much fun i've had using these TNTs and watching my worlds radically transform and massive explosions! incredible, and incredibly destructive. it could be that i have tweaked my normal TNT settings which is what has made these so insane, but, regardless, the various TNT nodes in this mod are really cool, and i will love having them around for my Mintest gaming pleasure for a long time to come.
this mod is so fun to play around with. would love to see this on some all out destruction apocalyptic server.
playing around with the settings and flying and shooting the rocket launcher is great fun. cannot figure out how to use the one called rocket. seems either useless or broken.
Addresses an annoying issue.
Also easy to read code, therefore highly extensible for those that care to make custom ore deposits.
I see surface level ore farms becoming a thing. May or may not be intended, but if that stuff gets regulated it should be toggleable.
Also someone who might have made building floors and roofs from default:stone migh have a surprise. A very niche case though.
In summary:
This mod is a gamechanger for people doing multiplayer and server admins.
I'd rank these geodes above Minecraft's any day of the week. And the nodes this brings are really nice. The geodes are so many sizes it's hard to believe as well, though that is more of a feature of the geodes_lib mod.
It works great as it is, but it also has a few restrictions, starting with the 16 color palette.
In it's current state it is a great addition to a creative game to make new decorative nodes., sculptures, furniture, etc.
But because of the color limitation, it will not be possible to produce nodes that fit a specific material.
One trick though is to duplicate the mod and change the color palette! (and also edit which nodes are used by the mod for which colors)
The ambiance of the game is fucking terryifing. The sound of the footsteps to the hum of the lights in level 0 is amazing. Its nice how it looks but you can bretty easily see that the world is predetermined it would be really cool if this was proceduly generated but I figure that would be very difficult. Also you say this isn't a horror game when it 100% is!
MeseCraft is the BEST Minetest game. It have lots of content for every type of player. There is a MeseCraft page: mesecraft.com. Everyone that reads this comment, please, suscribe to this page and you can help to the MeseCraft development. And for MeseCraft developing team, Keep the good work!
This mod is really peculiar and amazing! It can be certainly useful in places with rough and steep relief where it's not so easy to overcome it. And the main feature of the mod is wonderfully smooth animation and exact touching of the legs the surface. However, to mount the boat I needed to add self.object:set_armor_groups({immortal=1}) line to the on_activate callback because it just gets destroyed instead when punching. Please fix it.
The biomes have a few unique resources and structures that feel like they hold secrets, and may be the basis for something more further down the line.
When I look for new biomes or other features to add to my world, they stray more into the horror or fantasy genre. Among the mods I've tried, this one has a good bit of work put in it and I can't wait to see what's in store as it's developed.
Very useful if you want certain buildings to appear on the first load. 100% recommend this.
As an example: having a lobby for a Minetest game with quick loading time.
This mod is great!
It adds many missing animals to the world, and we all know that MTG needs them :)
Thank you for making this mod!
Very good for singleplayer survival.
Well-designed and fun to use, this mod is perfect for a nice few hours pastime. Even better when paired with technic, mesecons, and pipeworks. Make sure you don't fall over the edge! I recommend this mod. Thank you NO11!

Seems
have potential to became most playable game
Basical, must have
mod to revitalize the gameplay. Hope it will get updates

A Good Start, but Needs Work
I think this is a nice idea, and a simple solution to wanting to mark paths between places.

Great mod
Keep the good work IcyDiamond, Melterns is one of the better Minetest mods.

It Works if you say as a decoration but is not functional
When i installed it it said CTF_4teams not found so when i tried to fly it my game threw me out
Since I installed this mod I can't play minetest without it
It is just a bit hard to drive on V7 worlds please make a automobile that can drive over blocks (4X4)
They have a lot of depth

Excelent mod
i recommended using this mod to remove annoying unknowns coz its easy to use and not causing lag

Good mod and API!
Makes it very useful if you don't want to use the furnace as well as mining faster.
The API looks very well-built and documented as well.
The Best Game

Great textures.
A pack that gives a natural and realistic feeling to minetest.
There's a bug
you can't craft fence with planks, instead it only count two sticks to craft fences
Cool idea and animation.

Is more than just helpfull
Without this mod I would probably not be able to handle schematics, thanks a lot.
It feels like I'm in a children's toy.
Really fun to walk around and build in. I would love to see this compatible with more mods!
Nice progression!
I am very happy that you are working on my game. I really like many of your changes and may use them for my version of Sudoku as well.
