    The go-to schematic creator

This mod remains the go-to tool for creating and editing schematics for Minetest mods and games. Compared to schematic editors that are external programs, this mod relies on Minetest itself for modifying the schematics once imported, making the process of building and modifying schematics simple and effectively providing support for any game made both in the present or in the future.

    World-aligned textures!

This mod is an absolute no-brainer for any MTG world because of one component inside it - world-aligned textures on partial nodes (e.g. slabs and stairs), allowing for such nodes to be rotated while keeping the textures aligned, as compared to the textures being rotated alongside looking like a badly solved jigsaw puzzle. It's one of those incomprehensible "definitively a feature and not a bug, we swear" features of MTG that this mod fixes.

    Better walls!

This mod provides significantly better walls than the ones found in MTG. As opposed to creating wall pillars on every node, it will adjust depending on the neighbouring nodes and create a more flush wall, similar to cobblestone walls found in Minecraft.

Best item transportation mod so far

To become absolutely perfect it needs less sci-fi-ish look, so it can fit in more visual themes. Like idk, digtron looks

    very fire!!!

Updated much faster than Mineclone2 and it's more stable, a friend stripped the entire minecraft texture pack and it works. It's now maintained by me but, I don't plan on releasing it due to copyright issues.

    "Stuff" mod #3467982

What this mod adds is a single material, with ore and tool tiers. The tools have nothing special about them, it's just another tier. And while you can use the material to craft a node with a star on it, the texture of it is not particularly appealing. It's a pretty typical "stuff" mod that just adds new materials for the sake of it with little to no rhyme or reason to it.

    Cool but wierd

The mod is very fun but the humidity and heat isnt always realistic. if it isnt made to be realistic then my bad but if it can be more realisitc (humidity not over 100) then thats good :) but cool mod i still do like it!

    Gross and important lol

its a bit gross to have poop in the game, but it definetly makes it more realistic. i adjusted the time between pooping because it was a bit short. tho it does make the game more realistic! cool :]

    Cool Game

To be honest I don't really know how to get saturnium or sand yet but it's still an amazing game the music is also very nice and the one on the top layer is strangely familliar, I don't know from where though.. (first thing that pops into my mind is super cube cavern but I haven't played that in years)

    USELESS MOD!!!

This mod is just a prank. Theres nothing in the init.lua file, this mod adds nothing, does nothing, and the comments are just being sarcastic, this mod is useless, all it does is just adds an empty init.lua file into your world.

    ITS NOT REAL!

Very cool idea, bad in practice

I really like the idea of a camera mod. Create an image of what you see and put it on a wall later. This could be used for various creative things. The picture taking itself works fine but is oddly done with a command rather than an item or something.

Sadly, due to the limitations of Minetest, there are several drawbacks and limitations:

    • Only b/w images
    • Objects and players are invisible to the camera
    • Custom block shapes are not supported. In the photo it either becomes a full block or no block. E.g. plants are not drawn correctly
    • Picture calculation is slow, it can take several seconds
    • Making a picture blocks the entire server. So while the picture is calculated, everything else comes to a screeching halt

While the first 3 limitations may be acceptable, the performance problem is the biggest show stopper right now.

This mod clearly tries to put Minetest to its limits and it's definitely worth checking out because it's something very unique. But I don't recommend this mod for actual gameplay or server use. Consider this mod experimental.

    Best Boeing Simulator ever

Piloting the character is fun, you need to have everything within normal range, just running around is a game of it's own, sometimes paralysis hits and you die, and that is fun too. Very nice textures and ambience

    Very Nice but...

how can I empty the inventory? I cannot remove blocks from inventory, I need to drop blocks but that is not the same thing.

    Textures of my dreams!

The simplicity of this texture pack reduces the load on the visual centers and allows for more performance in other sections of the brain.

To put it simple, it unwinds my rusty strained springs and lets my visors rest.

    Great for adventure map-like games

Modgen is a great way of bundling up a map for an adventure map-like game, allowing you to generate a predetermined map shipped as a mod inside your game. The export process is simple, the exported map format is fully-featured and compresses well, and generally just makes the process smooth and painless.

I've barely gotten into this tbh but the description has taught me how you would go about making charcoal in real life, and while I hope that info is never useful it's still fun to know

8/10 A truly special experience. And don't sweat about spoilers!

In the earlygame, it seems to occupy most of the player's play time. Later, the player realizes this initial assessment couldn't be further than the truth. Mastering the controls, environment and rudimentary interations to perform simple sandbox things is but a droplet of what NC offers. Nodecore is actually a game about exploiting resources and mechanisms to perform more efficiently. The true depth of NC is lies elsewhere than figuring out how to light a fire. I like to think of NC being the sum of two gameplay loops: Exploration and Automation.

Exploring in NC isn't like in Minecraft or Skyrim. You explore the small stuff: mechanics and interactions. Exploration in NC is more similar to fiddling around with elements in puzzle genres like A Monster's Expedition, Infinifactory or The Talos Principle. What makes NC exceptional here is that it doesn't present itself as a puzzle ever, instead as a game where you feel inclined to understand the nature of the world and environment around you. The eureka moments are precious, worth the many reviews here praising it. This is a one-time experience, but that doesn't mean you should be completely averse to spoilers. After all, there's plenty of games where spoilers and community help makes the game much more enjoyable.

What happens when you've done exploring? Well, if it ended there I would have called NC shallow and uninteresting. No, automation in NC defines it in my humble opinion. It is evidently designed with more intent than the rather the sometimes baffling redstone world. In some ways, I feel like I'm doing an assignment as you translate concepts from real-life electric signals to virtual optics. In other ways, I feel like playing Shapes.io or Mindustry designing a factory to transmutate materials and calculating its efficiency in various points. Gameplay concepts of designing, iterating and fixing your contraptions is what I truly love about Nodecore.

Few sandbox games are like this. 8/10

    This got me thinking

If there is meseglass and a blue star, then correspondingly we need a RED star, and something opposing mese, too. Though I wonder what the latter is...

    Constantly improving

I noticed this mod got much better than when I first tried it. Punching animals now has visual feedback and all the mechanics work when you tame the animals.

Make sure to tame animals, so they don't disappear.

Spawn rate is kinda low. Is there any way to increase it in the settings?

Very useful for traveling larger distances

If you don't have any other vehicle mods or mods that allow you to sprint, this is a must have! Just be aware that you cannot climb full blocks and you will have to use slabs or stairs to create slopes the bike can climb.
